Traditional Mayrhofner Advent
Get in the mood for Christmas and enjoy the festive atmosphere at the Forest Festival Area in Mayrhofen. Stalls, local treats, a blacksmith, and a stage transform the snowy forest clearing into a winter wonderland that delights both the heart and the eyes. Soft Christmas melodies from brass bands ring through the night and the scent of mulled wine fills the winter air. This Advent market is anything but commercial and loud –it’s all about the true Christmas spirit, traditional customs, and a wonderfully festive atmosphere. The highlight for children: a Christmas Post Office where they can write and send their wish list to Santa. The eye-catcher for adults: a hand-tied Advent wreath with a diameter of 3.5 metres.
